Michele comes to yoga from a background of athletics and holistic health education. Originally drawn to classes for the grounding and calming benefits, in 1990, she began her in-depth studies to explore the greater physical-emotional-spiritual benefits. Her initial training began in the Iyengar Yoga tradition with Lisa Walford, Aadil Palkhivala, Manouso Manos, Sarah Powers, Maritza and others. She continued her studies in a variety of styles, including vinyasa flow and numerous hours in Yoga Therapeutics. In 2002, she immersed in the heart-opening and inspiring teachings of Anusara Yoga, with teachers Sianna Sherman and Desiree Rumbaugh. Currently, a YogaWorks Teacher, she blends her styles of experience and is a Teacher Trainer and mentoring new teachers.
