About Michele

Michele Klink is a San Francisco and Marin-based Yoga Instructor, Yoga Therapy Specialist, Teacher Trainer, Holistic Health Educator, Creativity Coach and an inspiration to all.

Michele came to Yoga from a background of athletics and 15 years of health education and counseling. Practicing Yoga since 1990, she began her in-depth studies to explore the profound balancing, grounding and healing benefits of Yoga. Her initial training began with 10 years of study in the therapeutic Iyengar Yoga tradition with Lisa Walford, Aadil Palkhivala, Manouso Manos, Judith Lasater, Tony Briggs and others. She continued her Yoga studies in a variety of styles including vinyasa flow, viniyoga, Anusara Yoga and over 1000-hours focused on Yoga Therapeutic study. She also studied over 500-hours in the philosophical Yoga traditions to understand Subtle Body Yoga Anatomy and the greater philosophical and meditation offerings of Yoga.

In addition and most currently, Michele is a YogaWorks Certified Instructor. In 2014, she became a Yoga TuneUp® Certified Instructorunder the teachings of Jill Miller.  She has been trained in The Roll Model®
method of Therapy Ball rolling routines to to repair, restore and revitalize the body. Michele is also an active member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT). 

As a Certified and Registered Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500 instructor with over 5000 hours and 15 years of teaching experience, she offers public classes, private sessions, workshops, continuing education and retreats to encourage the fulfillment of yoga, health and creative aspirations.

Michele currently teaches public classes at YogaWorks in Marin County and the San Francisco Bay Area.  She blends her styles of teaching and is a Teacher Trainer and Professional Mentor for aspiring new teachers and developing established teachers.  As a Yoga Instructor, her welcoming approach and attention to individual needs allows students to challenge themselves, let go of old habits and invite new possibilities.  Her classes are alignment and therapeutic-based.  Breath, meditation and philosophical insight are interwoven throughout the practice to cultivate a calm, focused mind and an inspired, joyful heart.  

As a Yoga Therapy Specialist, she offers individual sessions for those who have injuries, body limitations or chronic illnesses.  She collaborates with a variety of medical professionals to help teach patients yoga poses and movements that assist optimal recovery.  She also works with athletes to support core strength, flexibility, mind focus and endurance training.


As a Holistic Health Educator and Counselor, she teaches classes and offers sessions on herbal medicine, nutrition and Bach Flower Remediestm to support physical health and emotional well-being.

As a Creativity Coach, Michele facilitates classes to help incorporate greater creativity in daily life. She also offers continuing education to students and teachers assisting the creative discoveries of Yoga.
